About Robin Baby

Robin Baby is a baby tracker for iPhone and Android, built by two parents for their own baby. This page explains why it exists, who writes the guides on this site, and how we check what we publish.

Why Robin Baby exists

We built Robin Baby for our own baby, who had reflux and eczema. We tracked everything: every feed, every diaper, every nap, every rough night. But when our pediatrician asked how her weight gain in week 6 compared with week 9, the answer was buried in screenshots, scribbled notes and three different apps. At 2am, on no sleep, nobody connects those dots by hand.

That is the gap Robin Baby fills. Parents do the hard work of logging, so the app should help them get answers out of it, including questions that span weeks or months. We built the app we wished we had at 2am.

Who writes the guides

Uday S

Founder of Robin Baby

Uday S is the founder of Robin Baby. He has worked as a software engineer for 10 years, is the father of a 3-year-old, and lives in Canada. He writes the guides and app comparisons on this blog.

Uday is a software engineer, not a doctor, and no medical professional reviews the guides. They are not medical advice. When a guide touches on health, it points to official sources and to your pediatrician, who is the right person to ask about your own baby.

How we write our comparisons

  • We make Robin Baby, and every comparison says so. Robin Baby appears in our own rankings, so read them knowing who wrote them.
  • Prices and features of other apps are checked on that country’s App Store and Google Play listings and on the developer’s own website. Each guide says when it was checked and links its sources.
  • Where another app is the better choice for a need, we say so.
  • Spotted a mistake? Email hello@robinbaby.com. We correct errors and update the date on the guide.

What we stand for

  • Your data is never sold, not to advertisers and not to anyone.
  • No ads, and your child’s data is never used for advertising, marketing or profiling.
  • Your data is not used to train AI models.
  • Export everything to CSV at any time, or delete your account and its data.
