Huckleberry vs Robin Baby: An Honest Comparison (2026)

Huckleberry vs Robin Baby compared on price, AI help, sleep tools, nursing, pumping and moving your history. Written by the parents who make Robin.

We make Robin Baby, so read this with that in mind. We’ve tried to be fair: Huckleberry is a well-known tracker with a strong focus on sleep, and it does some things Robin doesn’t. Here’s how the two compare as of October 2026.

The short version

  • Choose Robin Baby if you want a clean, simple app that’s quick to use one-handed, want to bring your existing history with you, want an AI assistant that answers from your baby’s own logs for half the price of Huckleberry’s, or want detailed nursing and pumping tracking.
  • Choose Huckleberry if sleep is your main worry and you want a personalized sleep plan from a sleep team, or SweetSpot nap timing.

Where Robin Baby is stronger

Your history comes with you. Huckleberry can’t import data from other apps. Robin imports Huckleberry’s CSV, as well as Nara Baby, Baby Tracker and most other exports, for free, with a preview before anything is saved. Breastfeeds keep their left and right minutes. If a file won’t read, the team imports it for you by hand. See how to export your Huckleberry data.

A clean, calm design built for 3am. Robin is made to be used with one hand while you’re feeding. The Home screen shows what matters at a glance (how long since the last feed, diaper and nap), every log is one tap on a large tile, and there’s a dark mode that’s easy on tired eyes during night feeds. See the screenshots and judge for yourself.

An AI assistant for half the price. Robin’s assistant comes with Premium at $59.99 a year. Ask “When did she last poop?” or “Is sleep worse on days the second nap gets skipped?” and Robin answers from what you logged, showing the entries it used. Huckleberry’s AI chat, Berry, is only in its $119.99-a-year Premium plan.

Everything in one paid plan. Robin Premium includes the assistant, voice logging, photo scanning, sleep predictions, widgets, Live Activities and the Apple Watch app. With Huckleberry, getting both its AI chat and its tracking extras means its top plan.

Nursing and pumping detail. Log a feed afterwards as minutes per side, see your left vs right balance over days and weeks, and record pumping sessions with amounts from each breast and an optional pump timer you can pause.

Mom’s diet next to baby’s symptoms. Log what you ate, including common triggers like dairy or caffeine, on the same timeline as your baby’s fussiness, rashes and diapers, and track first foods with the free Solids + Allergen Tracker. Useful when your pediatrician or IBCLC asks.

Paper logs and daycare sheets. Snap a photo of a handwritten daycare or nanny sheet and Robin turns it into entries you review before saving.

Where Huckleberry is stronger

Sleep plans. Huckleberry started as a sleep app. Premium includes a personalized sleep plan for your child from its sleep team. Robin predicts naps and bedtime but doesn’t offer sleep plans or coaching.

A longer trial. Huckleberry gives 14 days of Premium free; Robin gives 7.

More activities. Huckleberry has a contraction timer and logs activities like bath time, story time and outdoor play.
