Smart Sleep Coach by Pampers Is Shutting Down: The Best Alternatives

Pampers' Smart Sleep Coach app closes on November 30, 2026. What happens to your subscription and data, and which baby sleep apps replace its schedule, tracking and sleep plans.

Smart Sleep Coach by Pampers closes at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on November 30, 2026. It’s already gone from the app stores, Pampers has stopped all auto-renewals, and annual subscribers with time left get a pro-rated refund automatically. Download your data before the app closes.

We make Robin Baby, one of the alternatives below, so read this with that in mind. We checked each app on its own website and US store listing on October 9, 2026, and say plainly where another app is the better fit.

What to do before November 30

  1. Download your data. In Smart Sleep Coach, open Progress, then the Patterns view, and download your weekly and monthly data.
  2. Check your refund. If you paid for a year and had time left after November 30, Pampers says the pro-rated refund is issued automatically. Questions go to Smart Sleep Coach support.
  3. Start your new app now, not on November 30. Most sleep apps need a few days of logs before their schedule fits your baby, so a week of overlap makes the switch easier.

Which app replaces which part of Smart Sleep Coach

Smart Sleep Coach did three things: a sleep schedule built on wake windows, one-tap sleep tracking, and a personalized sleep plan. No single app copies all three for free, so pick by the part you used most.

Robin Baby: for tracking sleep together, and a daily schedule

The parts of Smart Sleep Coach you used every night are free in Robin Baby. Start the sleep timer when your baby falls asleep, tap Pause for each waking and Back to sleep when they settle, and Woke up in the morning. A running timer and every waking show up on your partner’s phone too, and up to three caregivers is free. Sleep insights show average sleep, naps per day and how consistent bedtime is, over up to 14 days.

With Premium, Robin shows the next nap and bedtime and lays out today’s plan from about 3 months, once you’ve logged some sleep. Like Smart Sleep Coach, it starts from wake windows for your baby’s age and updates from every nap you log, so a short nap brings the next one earlier. New accounts get 7 days of Premium free, with no card needed.

“I like the sleep predictions as this has saved me from a fussy baby. It gives me a routine to go by unless cues come earlier.” (App Store review, October 2026)

Robin also tracks feeds, pumping, diapers and solids in the same app. What it doesn’t have is a sleep-training program or sleep sounds.

Huckleberry: for a personalized sleep plan

Huckleberry is the closest match if Smart Sleep Coach’s plan was the part you valued. Premium ($14.99 a month or $119.99 a year) gives you a sleep plan built by its sleep consultant team from your baby’s logs, refreshed monthly if you ask. Plus ($68.99 a year) adds its SweetSpot nap predictions from 2 months. Logging and caregiver sharing are free. Huckleberry pricing

Napper: for a sleep-first app with sounds

Napper’s free version tracks sleep and shows a schedule based on your baby’s age. Napper Unlimited ($69.99 a year on its site) personalizes the schedule and adds a sleep course and more than 30 sleep sounds. Napper pricing

Little Ones: for sleep training with a consultant

Little Ones has step-by-step sleep programs by age ($49.99 each) and private chat with a certified sleep consultant ($19 for 30 days), on top of a $14.99 monthly subscription. It’s the only one here with a person in the app. Little Ones FAQ

What happens to your Smart Sleep Coach history

The export gives you your weekly and monthly data. We don’t know of a tracker that imports it yet, but keep the file: it’s your baby’s sleep history, and pediatricians sometimes ask how sleep changed over a few months.

If you’re moving to Robin Baby, email your export to hello@robinbaby.com and we’ll look at whether we can bring it in. Coming from another app as well? Robin imports Nara Baby, Huckleberry, Baby Tracker and Glow Baby exports for free.
